Hang Ya Boss Out to Dry for Mingary Care is a bold, good-humoured fundraiser backing something that matters deeply: free, practical support for people who are dying — delivered locally, fast.
On Saturday 21 March 2026, brave bosses across the Sunshine Coast and Gympie are being hoisted into the sky… and they won’t come down until they raise $5,000 each for Mingary Care. It’s a playful stunt with a serious purpose — sparking conversation and rallying support for a reality every one of us will face at some point: dying — and how quickly people can need practical help when time is short.
When someone is dying, support doesn’t always start quickly — and sometimes the usual options don’t fit the reality people are in. That’s the gap Mingary Care fills. When care can’t wait, we step in with short-term, practical help that can start fast, delivered through trusted local providers and local businesses. That might include practical equipment to make home safer and easier, fuel to attend appointments, help at home, a last wish made possible, and bereavement support for the people around them.
