Energy4Seniors is a statewide community education program delivered in partnership with the Association of Residents of Queensland Retirement Villages (ARQRV).  We utilise local volunteers known as ‘Energy Champions’ to engage with older people in their communities through face-to-face discussion and is complemented by this monthly webinar series.

Join us for the second webinar in our Energy4Seniors series, featuring the Energy and Water Ombudsman Queensland (EWOQ).

This informative session will provide valuable insights into how EWOQ helps consumers resolve disputes and navigate issues with energy and water providers.

Our expert guest will guide seniors on how to access support services, understand their rights, and address common energy and water-related challenges. Whether you’re dealing with billing issues, service interruptions, or need to know your rights when approached by energy providers, this webinar is here to equip seniors with the knowledge and tools to manage their energy and water services confidently. Don’t miss this valuable opportunity to learn about the essential services available to you.

This webinar series is perfect for seniors who want to:

  •  Increase Awareness: Available concessions, rebates, and support.
  •  Enhance Energy Literacy: Improve understanding of energy bills and usage.
  •  Boost Confidence: Provide useful information and tools to enable older consumers to make wise energy choices.
